Due to the floods (yes we were almost waterfront status) last weekends working bee has been re-scheduled for this Saturday 10th March 2012. Come along, lend a hand, meet other members and have a great time.
There will be a trading table – We’re concentrating on edibles at the moment, so if you have an overabundance of vegetables, herbs, plants or perhaps you would like to make a slice, a cake or anything else edible to donate that would be great. These goodies will be sold at a very reasonable price and proceeds to GDAC coffers (they need filling)
We will be having a raffle - 2 for $2 and a few prizes
And because we are an arts group – we’ll also have a display table – bring some recent work to show everyone and so we can photograph it for the newsletter.
And don’t forget Lunch at about 12 noon – a mere $5 for a sausage and salad
Jobs & tools needed
Grounds cleanup – need whipper snippers and rakes
Paint the kitchen shelves – paint supplied and a variety of brushes
Sweep and clean the crib room – brooms
Windows wipe over – rags and perhaps Windex
A volunteer to run the trading table
Raffle ticket sellers
Don’t be put off by the list of jobs – if you can’t do any of those, we can always find another for you!
The inside has been painted, the external doors as well, so there have been lots of changes since you’ve seen our building – come along and have a bit of communal fun as well!
Look forward to seeing you all
