
Gallery on Track is open and here's what's happening!!!
In June and July, there is a collaborative effort by the very clever members of the Gallery, showing just what can be made with that marvellous fibre, wool.
"The Wonder of Wool" is definitely worth a visit: You will be able to find lots of warm items to help get you and your family through this bitterly cold spell that has arrived.
May had Carol Bairnsfather showing her skill with textiles and other media - as mentioned previously, photos to follow.
April showcased the work of our members, "Body of Work",
(photos to follow) illustrating the progress in their creative lives.
AND..... Gallery on Track celebrated 10 years of being in our wonderful refurbished Railwaymen's Barracks.
Gallery on Track has been supporting the work of Artists and Artisans of our district for 20 years!!!
There was a celebration on April 9, marking this remarkable achievement.
In the exhibition in March, Tony Luxford displayed some pretty amazing wire sculptures (photos to follow), all this great work with Tony showing that even having Motor Neurone Disease, he is still able to be creative, so very creative.

Carol Divall's Felting Classes have been very popular - there's a Beginner's Class on Sunday, May 15 and on Sunday, July 31,there is a class in 3D objects.
